Emma Robson, founder
I became a certified confidential counsellor (vertrouwenspersoon) in 2024 after working more than 25 years as communications adviser and trainer. Prior to that I was an international journalist, working for Reuters, Bloomberg, BBC, the UN and Dutch media. I am British and Dutch and work in English and Dutch, together with French, Spanish and Italian. I enjoy communicating with people, hearing their stories and helping them achieve their dreams and goals. I am aware of how much easier it is for people to communicate in their native language when under pressure. Based in the Hague, my aim is to work as a confidential counsellor throughout the Netherlands, backed up by a network of trusted colleagues to confer with and who can step in when I am not available.

Jacqueline Bakker, co-founder
I became a certified confidential counsellor in 2024, having
worked for more than 25 years in government, as a diplomat
and civil servant, specialising in security and justice. I also
work as a mediator and create professional podcasts for
companies and individuals.
I believe strongly in the need for justice and safety and am
genuinely interested in listening to people, in understanding
their dilemmas, and helping them find solutions.
My academic background is in anthropology.
